The Opioid Epidemic:

Narcan Training and Keynote Speaker

The opioid epidemic is a growing public health crisis. In Wisconsin more people die from opioid overdose than car crashes each year.

The first event will be a training to administer Naloxone (Narcan), an emergency overdose prevention medication.

The second event will be a community panel and health fair which will discuss the epidemic from various health, legal, and public safety perspectives. Both events are open to community members and college students.
